Privacy Policy
ReptiOS (“the App”) respects your privacy and data control. The App is designed around offline-first, local-first storage: pet profiles, enclosure information, care records, photo attachments, reminder settings, and backup files are stored on your device first.
Please read this policy before using the App. By using the App, you understand the data practices described here. If you disagree with part of this policy, you can stop using the relevant feature or stop using the App.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the App and this website’s product information, privacy policy, terms, and contact entry points. This website is static. It currently does not use advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies.
If you contact us through Telegram, Reddit, QQ, or another third-party platform, that platform processes your account, messages, and device information under its own rules. Please review the relevant platform policy and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
2. Information We Process
The App currently does not require registration, account login, ads, third-party login, location services, or an online community. It mainly processes information you enter, select, or generate locally:

The App may calculate tasks, overdue states, equipment lifespan, digestion cycles, shed follow-ups, and environment alerts on your device. These results are for care reminders, not profiling, advertising, or marketing.
3. System Permissions
The App requests permissions only when a related feature needs them. You can disable permissions in system settings, but some features may stop working.

4. Purchases, Restore, and Version Checks
Lifetime PRO purchases are handled by Apple App Store, Google Play, or the app store supported by the channel where you downloaded the App. The app store may process your account, device, payment, order, tax, refund, and fraud-prevention information under its own rules. The App does not directly receive or store your bank card number, full payment account, or payment password. To confirm and restore PRO benefits, the App may read product identifiers, purchase state, restore result, transaction identifiers, and transaction time returned by the app store, and store an entitlement snapshot locally. This is used to show purchase status, unlock PRO features, restore purchases, and handle purchase issues.
When you manually check for updates or the App performs a version check, the App may contact the official app store or a configured release channel and use the current version, platform, and language or region to determine whether a new version is available. Sync space is not enabled in the current release. The current local care workflow does not require an account or cloud sync.
5. Storage, Backup, and Deletion
Core care data is stored on your device by default. Unless you export it and send it to us, or a later feature provides sync with your clear authorization, we cannot directly access pet profiles, care records, or photo attachments stored locally.
- You can edit, delete, or archive pets, enclosures, equipment, and event records in the App.
- You can clear local image cache. Related attachments may stop displaying afterward.
- You can export backup files or health reports. Exported files are yours to store, move, share, and protect.
- Uninstalling the App, clearing app data, storage issues, or device damage may cause local data loss. Export backups before important operations.
6. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure
The App currently does not rely on servers to store your care data and does not actively share pet profiles, photos, or records with advertising, analytics, maps, third-party login, or social sharing services.
Information may leave your device in these situations:
- You export backups, reports, or images and share them through system sharing, cloud drives, messaging, or other tools.
- You contact us through Telegram, Reddit, QQ, or other channels and provide screenshots, backups, or issue details.
- You purchase or restore PRO, and the applicable app store processes orders, payments, refunds, and purchase state under its own rules.
- You check for updates, and the official app store or configured release channel may process current version, platform, language or region, and network access records.
- Information is required by valid legal, judicial, or administrative requests.
- If a merger, transfer, or shutdown involves personal information actually controlled by us, we will handle it as required by law.
7. Your Rights
You can use App features or system settings to:
- Access pet profiles, enclosures, equipment, event records, photo attachments, and settings.
- Correct or complete inaccurate or incomplete records.
- Delete records, photo attachments, or cache you no longer need.
- Disable notification, photo, camera, or other system permissions.
- Export backups and obtain a copy of your locally stored data.
- View PRO status or use Restore Purchase in the App; refunds, order deletion, and payment disputes must follow the applicable app store rules.
If you cannot complete a request in the App, contact us using the channels below. To protect data security, we may ask for context or necessary proof, but we will not ask for unrelated sensitive information.
8. Minors
The App is not designed specifically for children. Minors should use it with consent and guidance from a parent or guardian. Do not include minors’ identity details, contact information, school, address, or other sensitive content in notes, photos, or feedback.
9. Third-Party Components and System Capabilities
The App currently does not integrate ads, analytics, third-party account login, maps, location, or social sharing services that actively transmit personal information to third parties. It uses open-source components, system capabilities, or app store capabilities mainly on your device for image picking, file import/export, local notifications, local database storage, report generation, backup compression, version checks, and purchase unlocking.

10. Updates and Contact
We may update this policy when product features, legal requirements, or operations change. Updates will show a new update and effective date on this page. If an update materially changes personal information processing, we will provide a clear notice in the App or on the website.
